Town Talk silver polishing mits are fantastic. We have been using them for many years. Until recently, we bought them through a local shop in Belgium but, because of BREXIT, the shop no longer sells them.
So I ordered some directly from the UK. Shock & horror: notwithstanding Boris’ trade deal, I had to pay EUR 40 VAT and customs processing fees. This turned out to be because my order was one of the first this year and Town Talk hadn’t yet started providing the right customs forms. When I told them, they immediately apologised and refunded the EUR 40. That’s SERVICE!! I’m told that TT now provide the right declarations so it shouldn’t happen next time I order and shouldn’t happen to other future EU-resident customers.
